Short description
With this activity about Valentine’s Day, I want to encourage children to think with a critical view about what love means. Through group and individual activities, they are going to be able to practise all language skills.

  3. I love the activity. It is a verry easy going tool to force our students to have a more critical point of view about the meaning of "love" and what it implies. Great job, Sara!

  4. I've really enjoyed this task! It is very colorful and adequated for the date. You use different audiovisual resources and promote debate and critical thinking. It is very useful and interesting to deal with such a complex topic! Keep doing like this!

  6. I pretty believe that this activity is well organized, accurate and enjoyable for teaching English as a foreign language. Prezzi program is not an easy tool however, you made it up blilliantly. Congratulations!

  7. I really love the activity! I think topics like this, related with students feelings, should be included more frequently into the classroom. We usually tend to think that certain topics are too complicated for them, because they are so young, but nothing more further from reality. The task is perfectly adapted to the age of children and very well planned, making everything has sense. The combination of different activites make the task more dynamic and the idea of seeing a video, starring by children like them, can be very interesting to the students.
    We need more teachers like you. Great job, Sara!

    1. Thanks, Nerea! I think you perfectly get the point. The idea of see how other children reflect about love is the key of the activity. And to be honest, sometimes they see things in a easier way than adults do ;)
